Welcome to Penmoor Nursery. If you cannot find the information you are looking for on these pages please do call on 07717496749 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be delighted to hear from you.
If you are thinking about your child joining us at Penmoor, we would suggest you come and look around without obligation. We understand that there are a wide range of nurseries around and feel it is essential to find one whose ethos and structure suit your child and family beliefs. We would welcome you making an appointment by phone or by using our contact form. We look forward to meeting you!
Pre-school is the time when many children are prone to a wide range of illnesses, some of which are part of life and others that have greater impact. For the majority of illnesses we ask that you use common sense. Coughs and colds are a regular part of winter and if your child is well other than that they are welcome to attend. If they feel unwell or are ill enough to warrant medicine such as Calpol then they are probably better off at home tucked up in the warm. Any children with stomach upsets are asked to stay away for 48 hours after the last bout to avoid infecting others. If you are uncertain whether your child's illness is excludable please phone 07717496749.
If you would like your child to stay to lunch regularly please tell either Anne-Marie or your keyworker. Lunches can be added to the bill or paid for by voucher.
If you would like lunch on an occasional basis please tell your child's keyworker and add their name to the day's lunch list. A payment of £3.95 for three and four year olds or £4.20 for two year olds can be put inside your child's lunch box.
When your child first joins us we look very carefully at the information you have provided us with and we will ask you lots of questions. If we find a child has an allergy or intolerance to a food or other substance we make sure we share that information with every staff member who will have direct contact with your child. We will flag up and mark any triggers and ensure we offer a range of suitable, safe options to encourage them to make healthy choices.
